Default Spruce Run

Hello,

Planning to take a yak tomorrow morning or Saturday morning. I think its time to try the new toy on the water. Any idea how Spruce is doing? I hear the water level is still very low.
Anyone else planning trip this weekend?

Thank you All, I been watching the weather and decide to hit spruce tomorrow morning, hopefully before the strong winds. I will report the conditions and any fish after.

Wear a life jacket and have a cell phone on you in a waterproof case. The wind can pick up quick on a big lake like that and you could flip, and with water temps in the 40s you'll only have about 10 minutes before hypothermia sets in.

good luck, please report back as I was going to hit spruce tomorrow as well. recent saltwater reports have made me change my mind, either way im floating the yak tomorrow morning, shitty conditions and dead low tide be damned.

be safe

Do you guys think the wind will be that bad? I'm planning to fish from 8am to noon. I definitely don't want to risk, so any experienced yak's please share you thoughts.
Thanks!

Wouldn't risk it, I fished the sloppy east winds and how do you plan on fishing in such conditions?

Sunday looks amazing weather wise.
