Well just got back from seven days of steelheading and all i can say if its chrome your ater go get em! Rolled into town around 230pm last sun night got some last minute supplies and head off down low. Got down to one of my favorite seams i lkke to fish first cast baammm!zingggggggg! Splash !!! Thirteen lbish hen gives me the fin! For the next four days it was ridiculous fishing probly one of the best steelheads trips ive had if not close to it. Our two rookie buds did well one gettin his first taste of steel one not but had several hookups throughout the week and was happy,me my dad and brofor the first four days were hookin about fiteen fish per day and landing about 5-6 a day as the week went on fishing pressure increased due to anglers but we had a steady pick.on thursday we fished south sandy creek in search for some steelies and browns my bro ended up with a steelie and that was it we hiked back and cameacross a deep pool with about forty kings in it and not a soul in site and played with them for a while.friday morning was a bit crazy we decided to change it up a bit went to the ufz on the salmon get down to the spot fish evreywhere and i hear a yell look downstream and my bro ended up gettin a fly in the eye thank god hes ok! Besides that a great trip and some hit fishing boyz! all fish were released to fight another day some highlights were a brown. Trout about 4-5lbs some bruiser doemestic rainbows and biggest steel went around 15lbs all on egg pattern flies and 8 fluro enoy the porn[/URL[/URL[/URL[/URL

Very nice there Mikey....Very Nice Indeed. Glad the trip worked out and the fish cooperated so well. And glad your bro is OK. That's creepy stuff and why ya gotta always wear sunglasses while fishing.

Thanks for the post.

Nice fish love steelies hate crowds ! Might go up next week for a few days , use to kill them around Thanksgiving years back when ten anglers on a stretch was a crowd & salmon snaggers left the river .
Oddly enough the major floods changed upper river more than area u fished which believe it or not was good holding water 30 seasons ago !
Great job!!
