Default Cape Cod Tuna 10/11

Got and invite last minute to replace a guy who backed out on a buddy's charter up in Cape Cod Sunday. Got the call at 5 pm Sat. Jigging Bluefin with spinning gear on non sponser. What the heck, in the truck hit the ATM an off to Cape Cod. I know i can't mention the boat, but these guys were dialed in with a great network on the cape. Deal is they let you know where the fish are and meet you at the dock at 6 am. By 7 am were in the gounds fishing. They meet you at the closest doct to the fish and trailer the boat there. All 26 center consoles. Had to search the area a little, but by 9 am fish on. New experience for me since i usually do the MA thing for Cod , haddock etc. I don't usually post much but these guys were the real deal! 3 - 4 man charter just 3 of us on the boat. Thank God for the other 2 guys or this out of shape old man was not getting that fish in alone. Capt. asked if we want fish for more tuna or hit the beach for some bass. One look between us and it was bass, LOL i dont think us old farts could of handled another 100+ pound 60" fish. We had one sea sick so the job was left to myself and my buddy Chris.
stopped on the way in and caught and released all the 30 + pound bass you could want on Ava Greens. Kept our 6 and released the rest. Hoping they were on there way down to Jersey! Will try and post a pic, first time trying for me. If any you guys want to jump in on this pm me and i will give you the name of the boat. FYI thought of Shrimpman driving to MA alone on Sat night! LOL

Hey Danny, Was trout fishing out your way this afternoon. Forgot to call because the fishing was gangbusters. But all 7-11 inch rainbows. The chubs were bigger. Ridiculous that the F&G stocks fish you can't even bring home to eat. Will call next time.
