It went more like it caught us. Kevin the other Capt was jigging a butterfly on a shimano travala and a 16 reel. It hit the jib 3 times. Lapped it over fish went through Kevin and all 6 of us crazy the fish was every place port, starboard, stern and then ran to the bow. Wrapped the anchor line once Kevin got it UN done pulled the hook and Capt Dave did an awesome job backing down the forward etc get the fish behind the boat several times. Finally boat a 175 lb big eye. Also boated a 175 lb sword. Sven and Mike pretty much kicked that fishes butt. Capt Dave had to take the rod a few times as the fish get wanting to go into the wheels. I have said before and I well say again. I love fishing the Jenny Lee these guys are pros. They also let you work what ever you like. They even let me break off a small white marlin yesterday too sorry guys I'm better than I was on this trip. But Dave and Kevin only called Mary Lou twice that's an accomplishment for me. Thanks again team Jenny Lee.

Sorry you didn't get the Mayhem Bite but sounds like a great trip, as usual with Dave. Plus you also had the opportunity to get tenderized by the two canyon brutes. A good sized angry sword is every bit as powerful/stubborn as a similar bigeye, IMO. I am jealous.

You are correct. Was a great trip happy to have caught yet again no mad dog bite but those 2 big fish plus 3 long fin 1 yellow still a very good trip and a bunch of happy guys. Jenny Lee rules in my book.

The two fish alone made the trip. The lf, yf and mahi were the bonus.
Sven "Svengalli" Tim put a hurtin on those big fish. He wouldnt give up.
Great trip
