That's great. I hate golf. Standing out in the hot sun chasing down a little white ball only to hit it away from you again seems like the worst idea in the world. Having been forced to go to a few golf outings for work and dates, I have noticed that the ponds vary a lot depending on what chemicals the course uses for weed control and whether water flows through the pond. Some ponds are fertile and full of fish, especially carp. Other golf course ponds are completely sterile with nothing but a few aquatic bugs swimming around in them. .

![]() One word of caution about fishing on golf courses. Pay attention to whats going on as a golf ball to the head can end your fishing days forever.
