Annual Family & Friends Trip

Had our Annual Family & Friends fishing trip yesterday, on the Mi-Jo, yesterday 8/3/14 I just can't say enough about Captain Mike & crew. They do put in the extra effort to make sure everyone has a great day!

The day started out a little sloppy & rainy but by 9:00 the rain had stopped and the sun was trying to peek thru the clouds. While we dd have a few "sharpies" on board, the first Keeper Fluke prize went to my cousin Doug, with a 4-5lb fish, and the pool went to another cousin, Eric, with a 5lb 10oz fish. Both of these guys fish about once a year and were dragging bait with boat rods. Isn't that the way it always works out? We also have a family Trophy and that was reluctantly passed from me to Cousin Eric, to hold for the year.

Not a lot of keepers (I had one) but enough to keep everyone interested. Quite a few Monster sized Sea Bass caught too. Truly a great day with Family & friends! And, I believe there is nothing better than watching the young ones getting into the action!
