Default Reel Class 7/10 Bottom Report - Ling, Winter Flounder & Cod to 30#

Ran an open bottom trip today with a 4 man crew (ONE GUY DIDN'T SHOW - SHAME ON YOU!!!)

Started out in around 100' and had a couple of small ling, then ran out to a wreck in about 180' and had better action with some ling, cod, jumbo winter flounder and a few sea ravens.

Ran back inshore to another spot around 105' to find more ling, and picked a few more, but it was NG as the congo's took over.

Finally ran to another wreck in 220' and had a slow pick of mostly cod with a few ling and flounder in the mix. Most of the cod were nice keepers up to a slob of just under 30# taken by Randy (who also had a few other keeper cod and a handful of jumbo flounders!!) Real nice fish!!! Dom also jigged up a few nice ones.

Overall had a real nice day with a nice box full of fish. Ling fishing was only OK, but the cod and flounder made up for it. Screaming S current today didn't help things.

For the day we had ~30 nice ling, 15 keeper cod (out of around 25 for the day) to a shade under 30#, 6 jumbo winter flounder and 4 huge sea ravens made it to the box. Again, the Hard south current definitely slowed things and we had a wind against tide all day long, but we made due and put a real nice catch together.

Real nice day with a great crew - thanks for coming down guys!
