Miss Belmar - weekend wrap up

Friday night, we started out north of the inlet. We managed a handful of blues before the sun went down. After dark we headed out east and read a ton of bait, and what looked like blues, but they did not cooperate. Lucas Jaques from Princeton Junction, NJ won the pool with a 5 lb blue.

Saturday morning, we continued north with a nice group of people. Fishing was tough and we ended up with 1 blue and none on Friday night. Sunday morning, we picked up where we left off and ended up catching some blues on some drifts.

This morning, we read some blues on the bottom and caught a handful here and there on some drifts. We snagged some bunker and tried live lining with no luck. It’s been a tough couple of days.
