Some Hughe Bass -The way it should be!
Last year was much different with the ocean run of big bass.South wind every day and cold water,This year the temp. is perfect and NW wind at least a few times a week.The fishing is good and the bass are big.Multiple 50lb. bass have been taken with countless bass in the 40lb range.In the last week we have caught them live lining,snatch and drop and chunking.The water is warming up every day but I would think we should get at least two more weeks of the migratory Chessy bass ocean side.
The Hudson fish are done spawning at this is late.They are coming out of the Hudson River and with the good bunker run this year I think we will be catching into July.No matter what is does not last forever.
