Default family's first boat.

so my brother acquired his first boat, 17cc trophy 2008, low hours. taking it out for the first time early Sunday morning, probably out of Keyport. Gonna get used to the boat etc. Will probably try and find some fluke a little later in the day. I have been fishing my whole life, from surf. Any recommendations on where I should try and find some fluke?

thanks,
danny

First off congrats on your first boat! I am still technically a new boat owner having owned mine for just a year, so I know what you mean. Finding fluke on Saturday should be a breeze, it'll be like a party out there with everyone fluking! Any where around the hook is well known to produce, although you might find only shorties.

You learn with time, and soon develop your own favorite spots!
Goodluck! and Tight lines!
