Real chance at halibut, 2014!

this is no fish story, HALIBUT virtually disapperred the last 10 years. 2013 saw the first showing with fish up to 85 pounds. the fish we caught were all males, HALIBUT have only one partner in life, MONOGOMUS. I expect at least the females to show plus a new arrival of males. bait and water temps. have caused this change. may and june did the best, cut or whole herring. we will fish for all the other species but always have an outfit ready and fishing for the big flattie. I know what I am taking about, BIG MAC owned the previous 50# TEST world record for halibut. well over 250 pounds. best, capt. jim

Better not talk about them or there may be a one fish >73" per life limit set and they'll ask for the area so the trawlers can scoop up the rest...

What "other species" will be fished for on this type lf trip?
