![]() Quite a few of you have fished with me and know I'm always on the rail. We booked a family vaca to Myrtle Beach in late September and I booked a trip with T2C charters (not the actual name, figure it out). Any of you ever fish down there? I've heard we have reds, flounder, sharks, and possibly some kings.
Is there any surf/jetty fishing worthwhile?

![]() I haven't had a whole lot of luck fishing the piers or surf, just dogs and skates, I like to go offshore with Fish Screamer Charters out of little river. Last trip got the whole variety of bottom fish along with a couple king macks and a nice wahoo on my drift pole

![]() You can go to Calabash, N.C. which is close and fish on a party boat. There are three types of trips down south. Half day (for tourist) Full day (it's fair fishing) or Gulf stream fishing (productive). Find out trip schedules before you head south. The boats work all three schedules. Calabash is a great town to visit. Nice shopping for the ladies. Many good seafood restaurants to choose from. I own a second home 1 1/2 hour away. My wife loves all the little shops in Calabash.
