Default Bft 7/17

Left the dock at 5:30 to do some sharking. Made it to the area where I thought would be the best. With the lack of reports, we decided to call it and head out to troll for some tuna. Before we even had the second rod in the spread in we had our first Bluefin. Non stop action for the next 2 hours. Sometimes even 2 on, 2 guys, and 7 rod spread. One tuna even hit the lure as soon as I put it in the water coming so close he almost hit the trim tab. All the fish where between 34'' and 44''. Went 10 for 12. Not many good pics as we just wanted to get the lines back in. Great day in my book! Also was a lot cooler out there than at work.

How far out did you have to go before seeing the bluefin?
