![]() was at a lake, twitching senkos for bass, hot dogs for cats and jigs for crappies. slow all afternoon until the last hour of sunlight. literally fish on every cast, or hit and miss on every cast, all crappies no more than 8". using a white/chart crappie magnet on a black 32 oz jighead. ended up with around 30, 26 of them caught within a half hour timespan. got a painted turtle aswell on hot dog chunk, not a bite on the senko.

![]() Evening glassoff into dark late Summer was great on Prospertown when it still had water . I too like the 1/32 head but with a powertube . Never knew what would eat the jig . I caught a Snapping Turtle this year on a Crappie jig . Hooked him on the shell behind his head . Wifey said that we couldn't eat him so back he went .

![]() For hotdogs, I've used the ones you buy cut up. But it seems they come off the hook easily. Do they stay on better if cooked with a tougher skin?
