Bottom Paint for an Aluminum Boat
About the bottom paint my 16' aluminum since I had a bad barnacle issue last season. Scraped off all the barnacles and now I'm left with the calcium discs.
I'm gonna use the Interlux 33 but was wondering what you guys use for the primer after I sand? thanks

Re: Bottom Paint for an Aluminum Boat
Check the label. Interlux has a primer for that applicatioin. I use the Trilux on my trim tabs with out a primer and it worked. The tabs are stainless so you might need a primer with the alumunum.
