PROWLER5 - FRI., AUG. 23RD - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT

Hey gang, it was another drop-dead gorgeous day out on the ocean with a nice big gang of people. The first 2-1/2 hrs. were pretty slow for us because we couldn't get a drift. We were only moving .2, .3. But, late morning we finally started to get a decent float and started banging away at some nice quality fluke again. No limits today on fluke, just doubles. We had plenty of big sea bass being caught today. Had a boat limit on knuckleheads and then had to throw a bunch of them back. Had decent short action when we got the drift. Leo from PA won the pool 7lb with a nice flattie around . We ended the day with 23 keeper fluke. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get a good drift right from the start.
