Default GAMBLER TAUGIN'

Gambler had a great day yesterday on our long range Taugathon trip. I just wish we had more people on board to enjoy it with. Lots of action wherever we went with some nicer keepers in the mix. Our old friend Scott was out with us and he caught his limit with an 8lber and a beautiful 11lb female (which he released). I really like those trips but that was the last one until next winter.

Our 5 hour Lazy Man trips have been mostly good action on taug with an occasional cod. Typically releasing 10 or 12 shorts to get a keeper, but it's been steady action most trips.

Looking forward to going again tomorrow and the next few days. Unfortunately, long range on the weather does not look so good for the weekend, but hopefully, it will change.

I forgot to mention that we have seen quite a few big sea bass around. I wish we could have kept them. It would have made a big difference

Hey there! Sounds like an awesome time on the Taugathon trip, congrats to Scott for catchin' his limit! 🎣 The Lazy Man trips seem fun too! Fingers crossed for better weather this weekend! 🤞
