Mad Gaffer fluke report mon. July 26

What started out to be a very slow day, changed in the middle. We Started picking away at fish up to 7 1/2 pounds , with quite a few in the four and five pound ciass .We had limits around the boat ( One guy had three fish over five the biggest being 7 1/2 ) and wound up With a good catch. Unfortunately we lost A huge cobia at the boat, the angler did a great job bringing it in a 20 pound test but the hook on the bucktail broke. We had to fish right at the side of the boat the fish was over 50 inches and very very thick, I would say the fish was in a 55 to 60 pounds range . The hook simply just snapped.
