Greenwood Lake Launches Update 7/19/21

Hope all of you are ok/healthy.

At the present time we now have 1800+ signatures on our way to 2,000.

We attended the Fish and Game Council meeting last Tuesday. Council chairman Frank Virgillio put the problem of a new ramp on the agenda and Lisa Barno, Assistant Director of Fish and Wildlife made a presentation of the current situation and possible solutions. At that time, after discussion, Rob Pollock of the Fish Committee strongly supported UFANJ's position for a Public Launch. He made a motion...there was some discussion, and Chairman Virgillio called for a vote which was taken and it was unanimous in support of UFANJ's position. In addition Lisa Barno, Assistant Director of Fish and Wildlife, will attend the next meeting of the Greenwood Lake Commission and as usual you are all encouraged to attend either in person or via ZOOM to support the position the STATE has voted upon.
