Talking Trout, Trout, Trout!!! 11/17

Launched the boat at the pond this morning. Well, that didn’t go well! Left the lake at 11 am pretty frustrated. I can’t stand being on anchor and swinging around in circles all day. It sucks for real. The day was still young so I did some run and gun Trout fishing. Hit the Pequest, South Branch and Musky all in one afternoon. Haha! Talk about putting some mileage on the truck. I was down low on the Musky an hour ago. Anyway, there’s fish in every river mentioned. Pequest and Musky are flowing much better and higher than the SB. That river needs rain badly. I saw one other angler all afternoon in my travels. That’s kinda pathetic considering how nice of a day it was. Where is everyone? Lol!
TIGHT LINEZ!!!

I once caught one at the old Dover Rotary club fishing derby back when they held in it Dover Waterworks. Scared the piss out of me, didn't know wtf it was, looked like no trout I'd seen before. Of course I was 8 then.

Haven't caught one in the 41 years since.
