![]() i fished the big pond today and found good numbers of crappies and sunnies on the old jig-n-bobber. i fished the jig 35" below the bobber in 4.5 fow and the crappies were close to the bottom they wanted the presentation real slow with a twitch every now and then. they even hit it while it rested. for a short time i was working two rods at the same time with just a twitch twitch action and then letting it rest and BOBBER DOWN FISH ON. the bite died off a bit around mid day then it was slower later in the day. the wind picked up at the later part of the day and that might of had something to do with the slower action. the crappies were 9 to 14.5" and the sunnies were regular size 5 to 8" fish. i kept 4 crappies for dinner and all the rest released to fight another day. tight lines to all that go out
