Default PH Fluke in Nantucket

I’d like to thank Capt Jimmy the Greek of On Time Charters out of Yarmouth Mass for putting me on my PB fluke. Also Anthony D for the invite and Scott M. Drove up early Wednesday afternoon in miserable Connecticut traffic had a bite to eat and hit the hay. Met all th guys at the boat at 530 and set off to the grounds. First drop it’s was game on unfortunately I busted off a complete master beast. I thought I had dropped it during one of its violent head shakes but came to find that the line gave out right next to the knot. Quite the heart breaker. Mean while Anthony quietly reeling up a complete slob at 12.7# and TOM grabbing one at 11.4 I think. While Capt Jimmy is putting on a clinic with 4 fish if his own over 10# . Before you get the wrong idea about this . We purposely on brought 4 people total so the Capt could fish with us. It was our decision with the hope he too could have a great day. I believe we helped accomplish that. Well back to me now. After losing that heart beaker I got back in the game and about 30 minutes later hooked in to another great fish. Many violent head shakes and the pole lopped over, reeling very slow and praying it would make it to the net and there was Scott waiting with a perfect scope. Capt Jimmy said look at that one and put it on the scale. Pic tell the rest. Truly a day to remember total count 7 fish easily all over 10# plus a boat limit if 25 great quality fish. We continued to fish C&R to see if we could muster up 1 or 2 more DDs but it wasn’t to be. Released several more quality fish to 8-9# during that time. So just an unbelievable day of fishing.[ATTACH]Click image for larger version
