All is well down south.. Barney bay has been good to me lately... Keeper bass, jumbo white perch, and gator blues are keeping the rod bent daily and nightly

Great point raised by shucker. That said, it’s partly just the world today.

I like all the reports. Would be great to have more, of course. It’s not on the people that are posting.

Before having my own boat, I fished with many of the captains on here, lots of great ones.

Gerry’s how-to posts are invaluable.

Heading out Tuesday if all goes well on the home front. Will I post a report after? Probably not. Between the time it takes and subjecting yourself to the Internet police, it’s usually not worth it. Even the most innocuous seeming statements and pictures invite criticism. That’s not a statement about this site either, it’s one about people behind screens.

Talking Re: What happened

Jmur, sure I fish but I just don’t feel the need to pound my chest and put up a report no one can make sense out of...
Btw I have a lil 2yr old that’s taking up all my time.
Anyway, I really believe this board needs a Fishing Reports page.
I just miss the LAB times, he made this forum....I couldn’t wait to read his posts....now it’s” boat limit within the hour, drop & reel fishing, +++++++++++STRIPET LIMIT++++++++++....who gives a F*cK what you caught.
Gives up some useful info like what you used for bait, general area where you got them, how deep you were fishing, something other than telling us how great you are......give us something helpful.
These guys are out there everyday, throw us a bone every once in a while.
This site used to be about info and helpingout a fellow fisherman.

Thank you Freddy for listening and doing something about it.....that goes a long way.....us regulars and future customers will take notice.

If we're going to be honest here, when Lab dictated the law and mixed the pot (and Oh man did he EVER!), I used to spend a half hour a day going through the posts. Lately it's 5-10 minutes a week. Not sure if it's the loss of him, or FB...but it hasn't felt the same in a while.
