I'll be out for our annual Opening Day Outing..... We're out early making Pancakes, Home Fries, Bacon, Coffee, Warm Muffins right in the back of my van prior to having some fun fishing with the kids!!! Serious fishing starts AFTER the weekend!!

my son starts soccer on saturday, ill be staying local somewhere in cranford on the rahway. depends on the weather and kid's attitudes.

we stopped at cranford west on Saturday after the pequest open house. the cabins look like they are about to tip over. I don't mind the grime and the decrepit looking conditions but theyre just unsafe, no wonder everyone brings tents. I cant wait to drop my hobie and/or canoe in there with the kids and soak shiners, that water looks niiice.

I hear the fishing is great! I am definitely going to reserve a spot for a weekend sometime this summer. A tent is definitely the way to go! I have a contour map of the lake also, I think I found it online somewhere. It is surprisingly deep.
