While I don't believe anything should be killed for the fun of it, I do believe we need to balance ecosystems to help all species survive especially native species where man introduced invasive species do harm to the ecosystems.

I would also like to point out to the carp fisherman that believe bowfishing in the delaware or any water body in the state for that matter, nj bowfishing is a drop in the ocean when you compare it to other stated like texas, kentucky, louisiana, Arkansas, Wisconsin, illnois, to name a few states with huge bowfishing participation and not only do those states continue to produce nor only very large carp bur also great numbers. How is it the commercial netter in Wisconsin can net out hundreds of thousands of lbs of carp out of a lake and come back and repeat the numbers year after year?

i just wish we could get rid of the cormorants that love my juvenile carps,turtles and sunfish that love my carp bait, & the bass because then i do not have to see dudes who have patches on fishing drainage ditches

People enjoy fishing for them, people enjoy bow hunting them...that's a very valuable resource in my book, nothing more valuable than enjoying life. If it wasn't for non native species I think all we'd have is pickerel, perch, bullheads and brook trout as far as 'game fish'. Nature finds a way wether introduced or whatever.
