some kind of a jack..

when I was a little kid and we'd snapper fish up in Will's hole we'd catch a few of those - this was 30 + years ago.

Jack crevalle, barjack, blue runner - one of those - they've been around obviously for quite some time... The big ones just never show!

Juvenile Black Drum.
They have vertical black and white stripes and an inferior mouth.

TJD 24, I think you called it. I googled up "juvenile black drum ", and there it was. We have been netting them as they swim with mullets. Size is 4-6inch. Although the coloring is like Sheepshead, the inferior mouth gives it away. Thanks for your input............Papa
