All game fish could benefit from a slot but let's be honest. Probably won't happen. We can only try to do it personally for ourselves. I usually use the skillful angler chart as my guide. Anything bigger released. I even threw back a bunch of perch over 13" this ice fishing season.

Big fish, they lay more eggs, they have better genes to grow bigger and faster (most likely) or they're just really lucky haha. Plus small fish taste better!
