I'm still waiting for an opportunity to use the 4 I have. Havent really had a chance yet.

Pred, were you tossing the 1/4 oz ones? Pretty wild casting them in a river!

I believe there is another Binsky on the market. Don't quote me on that. I've noticed that some of my Binsky's are made from different materials. Had that problem this fall, the paint coming off quite rapidly. There's a white primer or something underneath the finish coat. My other Binkys are fine, the ones that are better constructed. I think we have a possible imposter, JUST SAYIN!!!

I've had the same problem with the coating comming off....These lures came directly from fishsense, so its no imposter...I think they may have changed things up on the materials they use...The ones i have that are older than say , two yrs old don't have the white undercoating....However the few that have totally worn to show nothing but the white have proven to be BETTER
fish catchers under certain conditions.....

So what i originally saw as a flaw, which it is, has proven to be a good flaw

This thread made me go inspect the two new Binskys I got from Dows a week ago. One, a 3/4 oz gold with green eye and the other a 1/2oz gold with red eye. The 3/4 oz has both the weight and "Made in Vietnam" printed on the inner card. The plating is nice and smooth with no chips. The 1/2oz does not list the weight anywhere on it (you can only tell b/c it is smaller than the 3/4oz and larger than the 1/4oz). Instead of of "Made in Vietnam" being printed on the inner card, it is on a sticker stuck to the outside back of the plastic package. On this one, the finish is all chipped up near the front hook and is rough in general. My point in all this... I think bigfishy and Eddie are right that they changed up materials / manufacturing practices.

Yes 1/4 oz Jijman. I was working a 4ft pool that I know holds fish. I wasn't sure if the Binsky would perform at that depth, but it worked fine. And to my surprise a carp even snatched it up (no snag).
