I got my 16' tracker in there. Just gotta get the jeep a little wet that's all.

I'm interested to see how anyone does. Farrington is 10 minutes from me but I've yet to put in much time there. I stopped by there for a swim last Tuesday and yea the water was insanely low. Lawrence brook seemed to have some water in it though when I passed over it. I gotta try for trout in there one of these days

I live about 15 minutes from there and very rarely fish there maybe once or twice a year. I'm not sure about the quality of the fishing there now not only is it extremely low but it looks like chocolate milk too! Why it's so muddy I'm not sure maybe from the drawdown? I've had a couple good days there but not enough to make me wanna fish there alot. Now would be a very good time to make maps and take pictures of the structure and channels to give your self an advantage next year I was quite surprised at the lack of structure seems like most of it is just big flats so knowing where the channels are may be a big help.
Other than the shore line there is practically nothing for the fish to hold on.

I live 15 to twenty mins away and as a few guys on here know like get a net and especially jjfishy i do quite well with certain fish at certain times of the yr when work allows over the winter months i make it my second home catching tons of pan fish pickerl large mouths and a few others at least one pike a yr it has its moments and hold some big fish jusy a matter of luck timing and a little finesse to land one. my icon is my personal best large mouth landed in that lake on a 1/32oz jig on a ultra light and 4lb test talk about fun!

Thats a pretty solid idea, Dale. Might have to do that this wknd when I have a few minutes. I live like 8 mins from the lake. I've caught some real nice bass in there and some pretty big slime darts. Yet to see the elusive northern pike caught there though! It's like the Millstone!

I'm not surprised that they are stopping trout stocking in Farrington.

For years, they have been stocking both trout and Northern Pike in these waters.

It just didn't make sense to me since the Northerns get quite large in in lake as evidenced by some that I have seen come thru the ice in the winter.
The stocked trout are probably just like candy to the Northerns!

I don't know if the Notherns breed in this lake, but it makes sense to stop stocking one or the other.

So I decide to go with farrington today. Step dad skunk. Me 3 perch on shiners. 2 very nice ones. My step dad loves them so he is cooking them up. Water was low and the ramp I used was very muddy. We tried for trout and bass, but we saw a tree down in the water, as we approached it we saw bait fish jumping all over and even large breaks. Thought we had found a pike, turned out it was some perch.
