![]() Hit the river around 6 and the first thing we saw was baitfish getting crashed onto the swimming beach. After a few casts I only came up with a few dink lmbs and a small smallie. Decided to upgrade to something bigger.
Few casts later I got a decent smallie and a follow by a small esox of somekind. After a half hour or so I ended hooking into one a bit bigger. Looked to be about 16/18" but unfortunately he managed to shake off a few feet from shore. Couldn't really make out its markings but I could swear I saw black spots on its side. Baby musky perhaps? Ill never know...... Little while later, moved to check out some new spots. Picked away at a few more smallies and called it a day. Total for the day, 3 dink largies, 5 smallies up to a pound, and 1 lost mystery fish. Nothing huge, but nice to see some new water and have some tight lines!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
