Same here, Did not even limit out on shorts(if keeper sized). But almost exclusively Bay fishing.

Right on Chrisper.... This fishery is all about location and the right conditions in that location for the correct presentation of your bait. There could be tons of fish in a spot but if the wind is pushing you against the tide or current your screwed.

A lot of it is not the arrow, it's the Indian....

The trick is to know where the fish are and fish that area when the conditions allow. Reading the conditions, using the boat to power drift or using a drift sock to overcome conditions is what separates the sharpies from the casual fishermen.... Staying out all day till you catch your limit also works

Been out 3 times in RB with my kayak. 1 keeper on first trip early in the season. 2 keepers on second trip and a limit on the third trip.
1 limit for 3 outings but never got skunked this season.

yeah we just beat it with a hammer until it fits or breaks...staying out all freaking day is how we get it done, hahahaha

Limited out yesterday AM and also on the PM trip...3 shorts on each trip. Oh. got a 20" and 18 1/4" flattie on the PM trip....
