Crock Pot Stuffed Cabbage ( Infamous)
4 - lbs of pork / veal / ground beef aka Meatloaf mix
1 - large box Spanish rice (goyo) 4 - cans of tomato soup 1 - can of diced tomatoes 2 - heads of cabbage 1 - can chicken broth 1 - pack of sliced mushrooms ( chopped ) 1 - diced med ( valada ) 6 - cloves garlic 2 good shakes equal 2 tsps in my book - core the 2 heads of cabbage and add to a big pot of boiling water - start to peel cabbage leafs when they become soft and place in a big tin to cool - while this is going on take spanish rice and begin to cook but sub 1 can of chicken broth to replace water - put tomato sauce and diced tomatoes into pot add 2 cans of water - 2 good shakes of parsley and 3 good shakes of oregano, 3 crushed garlic and simmer When rice is done add a little at a time to the meatloaf mix along with the diced onion (use your hands for mixing) When your hands become hot cool them off with a splash of Burgandy wine ( over the mixture ) mix in the other cloves of garlic and some chopped mushrooms. - don't go crazy with additional rice - place a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the crock pot - place meat mixture in leafs of cabbage and roll from the thick base to the thin front of the leaf - continue above with layer of sauce and cabbage roll - when pot is full add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of Burgandy wine - cook high for two hours the low for 7 more OPTIONAL 1 ring of good smoked KOBALASKI sliced and layer with the cabbage and sauce ------ Caution when you eat this your BRAINS may expload
