South branch slammer rainbow!!!
Got out Friday night after the stocking and hit up the south branch. Heard the state put some nice fish in.We all know a lot of these fish are pretty tricky right now when they are first dumped in. Gave it a shot and started out throwing the box at em put the old faithful trusty plug on and second cast this monster smashessss it!! Just about swallowed the plug hah he really wanted this thing...
yelled at my buddy NET and we had the beast in the net. ( 5 lbs on the boga)Hit a few other spots all up and down the south branch and found some trout but they really didn’t want anything. Yesterday morning I got up early and headed out again looking for some brownies and found em them close to home in a few spots. Love these little guys so dang pretty.

Breeder alert, breeder alert! Sick alien Rainbow! Great catch. And we always love to see the Browns thriving in NJ. They are gems!
