Default Navesink fluke

Got 6 this morning during the West wind and out bound tide. Started around 0630 and finished by 0830. Two keepers. Nothing in the bellies. Cow nosed ray picked up one of my son's kilies and gave him a great fight before the Carrot Stik snapped.Third one he has had snap. They replace without question for $50 but he's beginning to wonder if he should bother again. Previous 2 snapped with less than 5 pound blues. Thought he had a 15 pound blue on the line this morning.

Nice lunch!

Ugly sticks don't snap. Maybe get one of them instead?

Thanks. Just happens that he found an old Ugly Stik in the shed and intends to use that for the rest of fluke season.
