Hit the raritan unexpectedly today managed a few small stripers, big white perch, few little smallies, found 2 agressive daytime cats first one was a decent channel but the second one was a river monster flathead i hooked up with it jigging and the fish surfaced but didnt set the hook well enough but this thing caught me by suprise it was a easy 30-40 pound fish, but hey i know where it lives get that big girl next time

Wow big cat! They seem to hit lure around this time of year, at daytime too. Get Any other pics of the flatty?

I have def caught smaller flatheads and figured big ones prowl the area but once you see one they really get scary big

Ive yet to see a flat head myself in there and im giddie to catch one. I gotta fish it more clearly nice report! |
