![]() hello everyone
now that RV and Merryl Creek are closed i have lost all fishing spots i am used which makes me quite depressed. was hoping to find something new around my area. does anyone know of any good access spots to musconetcong river in the Bethlehem Township area (Asbury, Hampton, Glen Gardner, etc). I would really appreciate any responses as this being locked up at home is getting me really down. what type of fish does the river hold? i am assuming there is some catfish and bass. not asking for spot burn info, just some suggestions on where to start and what is still open to the public. we live in very confusing times. thank you in advance. ![]() I don't know the answer to your question, but before anyone posts to help you out I hope they will consider taking it to PMs.
80% of easy access is shut down, and the remaining legal spots will be swarmed if enough people show up...and they will shut down as well. This thread has zero responses and over 200 views, so you can do the math. |

![]() I would just go exploring. Follow the river by car best you can and look for access points. I've followed the river from lake hopatcong all the way to the Delaware. Keep an eye out for stocking signs.

![]() thank you for the pointers. i went exploring and indeed there are already many fishermen on the river. however i think safe social distancing is being practiced. i am going to try some spinner baits and them some powerbait once amazon delivers it. also looking for some worms in the backyard to do some old-school fishin.
