Thanks badger. Might have to cross that 1 out then because i only have 1 battery and uncertain on just how long itll last due to lack of use. I have tried to intermittently charge but wasnt as religous as i should have been. Will keep that in mind though and thanks for the info

Prospertown Lake on 537 right past Great Adventure has been producing bass and pickeral - especially on rubber worms. No need to paddle very far. Decent launch site. Nice and easy to get to.

Thanks for the recommendation Irish. Looks like a nice little lake but unfortunately they do not allow electric motors. Really want to use my motor and see if the boat is in good shape. Maybe another day ill check it out.

How about Delaware and raritan canal. Plenty of slime darts , bass, maybe a walleye or two.

Thanks for the recommendations gents. Andy, Ive never had the most luck at manasquan and no matter the day i always feel like Im gonna get blown off the water. Drove along the DnR recently and like the way it looked. There sections where it really flows that could get me in trouble or where do you recommend launching?

The Splitrock wind can definitely be BRUTAL. Went there with the yak one time and let the wind push me from the launch all the way up to the big island. It was a light breeze that turned into a steady wind, paddling back took me almost 2 hours. My arms were burning for sure!
