Don't buy that one. I had that one and the switch is a piece of crap. But IT does do the trick is working.

And you're right. Waiving around a strong flashlight will fair better with the idiots out there too

Better yet- a blinking BLUE strobe. LOL That one they will slow down for.

ike below...if out on the cong i make a habit to flash a light at any oncoming boat so they know I am there....the "anchored" white light gets lost with all the house/dock lights...i had a near miss with a pontoon boat that was floating in the middle of the lake with only their anchor light on.

thanks guys for your info. the reason i asked the question is last saturday nite during the kdc walleye contest this friggin googan yells at me and calls me a retart then tells me "that's a good way to get run over and killed you retart only having a head lamp on" the googan says this after coming down off full plane in the no wake zone by the woodport side of brady bridge after dark so i ask you who is the real retart here? my lite was so bright that it lit up two no wake bouys out there. be carefull drunkin googan season is upon us already.

I'm sure that advice came from someone that is lit up every night without any bulb at all. You'll get kilt out there when Moonshine Moses is out there.

Only thing that he stops for at night is the muzzle flash of a 12 gage.
