Default Shepherd Lake Algae Bloom

Does anyone know if the toxic algae situation has been resolved at Shepherd's Lake. The reading I've done suggests the situation should have resolved itself over the winter naturally but the parks and recreation website still has a warning posted.

I'm trying to figure out where to try my luck this weekend.

I just read today that that warning was from last year. Some local media outlets reported it as something new, but then corrected their stories. All should be fine there now.
