Doing that also will half the life of your built in charger running from November to May. I might add a very expensive built in marine charger too.
You could do that. But the likely extra cost worth the ease?

OK just want to thank everybody for the input I am definitely going to take them out and put them in the garage I appreciate all the help.

Took mine out every year and the left them in. Failed on remembering to charge them. Learnex the hard way. No charge battery freezes. Cracked the case of a one year battery. Needless to say both batteries sitting on 2 x 4 s on me cellar floor.u

I've always left them in, monthly charge no problems.
