Default musky attack

sorry no pics this time. I went out after work targeting musky and just to make a short report i had two follows on two different lures, no hits, no fish. 2 follows in 2.5 hours not too bad though.

anyway i hear a splash behind me and i turn and see a small wood duck. I immediately thought oh it's just a bird not a fish...then i notice the bird is frantically flapping but not going anywhere (as if something is holding its leg). the bird finally lifts off the water and lands back down about 15ft away and a huge explosion of water goes off on the bird.

it ended up flying away onto land (guess the musky missed the strike), but it was pretty cool to see the whole thing go down!
