![]() went up to lh again last night to try and get the skunk off me.got up there around 7:30pm and started casting.wind was a little bit of a pain at first but died out as the light faded.around 9pm and no runs, hits or errors I'm thinking "I am going too double down with the skunk" and have to hear it from the gang.Wrong, got crushed and landed a nice fat 23" eye ball a short time after.things started to happen as I hook up again but dropped the fish.they were following the lure right to my feet them trying to get it as I lifted it from the water.hooked and landed one more 17' eye before I left at 10pm.got the smell off and had a nice night on the lake.

![]() Question for all the LH pros, is the walleye night bite only a boat bite or is it possible to catch them from shore as well. If it is, where would you guys recommend. Lake's End, State Park etc. Is the State Park even open at night. I remember years ago trying for hybrids right from the beach there at night and doing well but haven't fished that area in years.
Not looking to burn spots but wanted to give the walleyes a shot if it worth while from shore. Could use suggestions for lures as well, rattle traps, jerk baits, buzz baits, spinner baits etc. When I caught hybrids silver rattle traps with blue or black backs worked well. Thanks for anyone's help. Dakota |
