![]() Where should I go? Raritan river catfish? Hopatcong from shore?or take the hike to fish the big D? Any other ideas should be appreciated. I'm so dam indecisive haha

![]() it all comes down to one thing. which of the places you mentioned do you know the best.catfishin is fun,not too much shoreline access at the cong and big D might be murky from the rains lately. if you have a boat or canoe you might try the cong. hybrids lmb and channel cats roam at night.

![]() I'm confused, guys mentioning the river being up like it's a bad thing. When the water gets dirty and comes up is the best time to fish for catfish, sure you gotta use a little heavier weight and be more selective where you fish but high water with all the extra food in the river is when the cats put the feed bag on!
