The council meeting just got dismissed and I am proud to say the fuel pumps will not be down much longer. They are working very hard for this Friday to be re-opened but have guaranteed next Friday the latest by both the mayor and DPW director/supervisor. Seemed like I was the only one in attendance but I am definitely glad I had gone because this would put a huge damper on everyone with a boat if the pumps were to be closed past Memorial Day. So hopefully no more worries!

Capt. Ron I was there as well and spoke to the Director of DPW who was very helpful. I posted an update as you did in the thread below this one. Didn't want to stay until the open session at 8:30 so I spoke with the Director before the meeting started and received the same information. He seemed pretty confident about this Friday but didn't want to commit. Good news just wish the town would have communicated something in advance to avoid all the rumors which were circulating. I have the Grady next to you at Total, look forward to seeing you down at the marina throughout the season.
