Eddie,

Great pics and beautiful fish. You know how to put fish in the boat for sure. Awesome job on the releases as well. Nothing like catching a true trophy fish but the satisfaction you get seeing her swim away to get bigger and be caught again is second to none. Phenomenal job!

Off topic question for you.....how long do you fish for channels and flat heads in the big D? Maybe the question I should ask is how far into the fall / winter is it worth fishing for both? I suspect they are starting to transition into their wintering spots and assume for a while they will still be feeding and fattening up for the winter. Caught some real quality channels in the spring before they moved out of their wintering spots but was curious how long into the fall you target them if at all and what your experiences have been with them actively feeding.

Again great job on the eyes.......real quality fish!

Dakota

Excellent catches. I wanted to get out & jig Hopatcong today or tomorrow, but my buddy hasn't bought a license this year & too late. Two guys I know w/boats put them away, and though Laurie still has boats out, don't care to fish LH alone...so looks like I'm headed to the beach for stripers in the rain tomorrow. Can't guarantee that, but my rods & all my stuff is downstairs ready to go.
