![]() I haven't been fishing as much as I would like to this year. I wanted to get out and fish the pre-spawn more for bass but what I did get to do built my confidence more in lipless crankbaits and chatterbaits. I started fishing opening day for trout but switched to bass after and been going as much as I can. Mainly fish retention ponds by my house and in the South Branch always scouting and searching for big south branch bronzebacks cruising around. The pictures are in order of catch from left to right. Last time I was out a lot of bass were on beds. Probably the most frustrating time for me to catch them. While the bass spawn its a good time to target the big females. Trout fishing has been fun this year with experimenting with different lures that the typical trout fisherman at the bridge by my house on Tuesdays wouldn't use and it has paid off. By the end of the week when the fish have seen every in line spinner in the book its good to turn them on to something different.

![]() Yea Andy I hear you... I have been catching fresh stockers but that bigger one I kept seeing swimming off the bridge. It had a strange black mark on the side of its head. I used a berkley gulp minnow on a jig head and it hammered it.
