Was on the trip with Ytuna and totally agree with what he said. I had a 16+# on that trip with greens. The greens also worked with a jig.

Ytuna is right. Did not find the whites to outfish the greens on this trip
My crab guy I normally deal with is not potting crabs yet so I called NY guy who I never used. I had my friend Dave pick up the crabs from guy in Brooklyn. Crabs were $50 a bushel and we bought down 2 bushels, When Dave added the cost of gas ,ice and 5 hours of his time his total came out to a whopping $175 bucks. There was some kind of bike race going on Sunday so a 2 hour roundtrip turned into 5 hours. With the extra time it took and the heat crabs did not fair well as only a little more than a bushel made it alive. If still interested in bringing white and going through the trouble I will give you guys # Alex MVP |

If you're looking for an alternative bait to green crabs pick up some blue claw crabs. They're hardy, readily available and can be deadly on tog . AND if you have left overs they make a great snack
