Default Lake Hopatcong Boat Slip

Trailering the boat is getting old and looking for recommendations for a boat slip on LH.

Only interested in the Jefferson side of the lake. I checked out the marinas today and got their pricing (spendy!). Interested in user experiences pros/cons

Thanks

A buddy I fish with, John, keeps his boat at Flash marina and hasn't had any problems since moving the boat here. If you have a problem the man that runs the place is the first one to help you as long as he's in the building.

We launched one day last spring for the night bite. Johns battery was dead at 10 PM on a weekday. The marina owner was still in the building at this time. John found the owner and explained the situation. The owner quickly snatched us a battery to use and took the dead one back to the shop. That's top notch if you ask me. Hope you find what your looking for. GOOD LUCK!!!

I'll second a recommendation for Flash... I bought my boat there and the owner Kurt is top notch.

FWIW, Flash is the Marina we launch at when we hold Muskie School every year in May and we have always been happy with them.

If you can afford it, that guy at flash sounds awesome def deserves your business! Other than that there are personally owned dock spaces around that you can save money on but then you'll have no security and such.

Flash is a great marina and a nice group of people, the only bad thing is the long no wake zone to get to the main lake, anything past Brady Bridge is no wake, but u benefit from not getting your boat pounded on. Just make sure your bilge is auto triggered and your batteries are new, every year boats sink in LH cause of rain and bad batteries. How big is the boat? I know 2 ppl renting private docks for cheaper than the marinas. Ppl advertise on Clist too for dockspaces, take a peek
