![]() BEER, WHISKEY, FLASK!!!! A couple tip ups, 1 jigging rod, assorted jigs. I'd start with medium or small shiners. They see more action then the xl, jumbo shiners. Start small and see if you like it. Lots of fun and fish to catch through the ice. It helps when you have great group of anglers to ice fish with. Come out with me and the gang this year, we'll get you started and give you a tip or 2. PM me if you have any questions. TIGHT LINEZ BROTHER!!!!
![]() P.S. Don't forget about the little ice fishing contest were having this year. Anyone can WIN!!!! ![]()

![]() The best ice fishing investment I have made is a vexilar. It's so fun to watch the fish on the flasher and you can immediately tell if you have life in the area when you drill a new hole.
I prefer jigging to tip ups because i like to move around a lot. For jiggin I recommend small tear drop jigs tipped with waxies and rapala jiggin raps in perch color. ![]() |

![]() You can even skip the hatchet if you come later in the day and use abandoned holes.

![]() That's true! And you just saved 15 bucks! Haha and if you want to save money on a flasher I just use my boat fish finder take the transducer off the arm and attach it to a float and use that. Works just as well!
