another annual trip in the books. weather was a little more than we wanted but hey that December fishing. Thanks to all the guys for coming out and making the day. Jerry and John as always you guys are the best. as Jerry said the fishing was a little tough but I did manage my limit + as did two others. picky bite today and you had to search for em. good times none the less. till next year. congrates on the slobasaurus Joey. and congrates to Andrew for getting the first keeper - you were dialed in on them today.

My first trip on the monger and it was everything I thought it would be, thanks Capt Jerry and Mate Johh!

Want to thank Steve/Als Mako for the invite and great spread he provided for everyone and for everyone who could make it.

Congrats to Steve and Joey Da Fish - great cacthing and Joey on the slobsaurus also Andrew was en fuego and all 3 were dialed in.Captain Jerry and John always to notch - special shout out to John for dealing with me all day with my new level of sucking and bringing a new meaning to Googan/Googanous .

The only thing I caught was rocks/snags bergalls handful of small blackfish, but this was the new level I hit/dropped/snapped. Finally I get a descent blackfish / nothing huge nice roaster , its almost over finally I can contribute. See him on top and I go to swing the fish in and then pop/my line snaps at the sinker , the hook gets stuck in my jacket , the sinker bounces on the rail a couple of times and stays on the rail , the fish does a double sooka-hara with a full twist in the air and in the process gives me the F-U fin , laffs and mocks me bounces off of the rail a couple of times and back in the water . I take my rod place it down gently walk over to the cabin and proceed to smash my head into the cabin doors, then back at it . That is Fishing . There is one on every trip and I was on this one . Last week I was the hero , this week Big-Ol- ZERO-0 -

Thanks to the rest of the guys for the laffs all day and made my sucky/gouganous a little less painful

First time on the monger two. Great boat and Gerry and john. Nuff said. We had an all star cast of characters yesterday. Number one, thanks for the invite Steve, you put together a nice trip. Number two, I did not get skunked. I ended up with three to seven pounds. Very slow morning for me, I felt like I had a target on my back once I got a couple in the box the sights were set on lefty, who was doing a great job working on the donut! In the end he put a 15 incher in the box. Gdubs was a riot all day, nice fishing with tropics, finreaper, nice meeting urban angler and as mentioned Andrew was on fire with a double limit. The fish in the end edged me out of the pool. Great friends, lotsa laughs and the food was outstanding. Can't leave out MVP. As always, one of the classiest guys I know.

One thing I must learn is that I am getting older. Joey was gracious enough (as usual) to invite me to stay at chez zagorski, but I chose to play hold em all night Friday and head right to the boat. So in the end I was up for 40 hours straight. Like I said, getting too old

Anyway, great trip, great friends and a great time. I'm now off to Florida to spend some time with mom.
